Nokia 3200

This is a very interesting cell phone. On the inside it is jam-packed with many powerful and versatile features while on the outside it has a whimsical, very colorful design which is targeted to a youthful market.
The outer shell of the Nokia 3200 is comprised of two transparent plastic shells. Three colored templates come with the phone and are interchangeable depending on your mood. If you wish to customize your cell phone, you can take a photo or create anything on paper, cut it into the same shape as the template and slip it into the phone. A cutter accessory is available that can help you cut the template to an exacting level or you can simply use a pair of scissors.
If you think this phone is all about glitz, think again. On the inside, you will find a full line-up of features including high speed EDGE technology, loudspeaker, camera, a built-in FM radio, voice recorder, flashlight, games, and the list goes on and on.
The EDGE (Enhanced Data rate for GSM Evolution) technology increases the rate of data transmission. The frequency range is GSM 900, 1800, 1900. The loudspeaker makes ringtones clear and robust. The FM radio station has fairly good reception and is very useful during lay-overs at the airport. The Nokia 3200 is also J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) compatible which means it can download J2ME games which are the industry standard. Battery life is up to 3 hours while talking.
One neat feature on this phone is that is contains a flashlight on the bottom. To activate the flashlight, you simply press 7/*.
The built-in camera has the ability to take pictures in two different resolutions: 80 x 96 px and 352 x 288 px. The quality is not high enough to print directly but looks very good on a pc monitor.
